Play All Media Files In Windows Media Player In Windows XP

Installing too many media players makes our computer slower. If you want rid from them, then you want to follow this article. I am going to explain how you can Open / Play Any Windows Media File In Windows Media Player in Windows XP. Every media extension wants a codec to play, not a media player. So you don't want toDownload Media Players to Play All Media Files. You just want to Download K-Lite Codec Pack. After installing K Lite Codec Pack you can play all of your media files just in windows media player. K Lite Codec Pack is a Collection of all Windows Media Codecs which are used to play many file extensions such as DVD etc. It also enables many media files on the internet. Just follow the following steps to Start Playing All Media Files Only In Windows Media Player.

1. Download the latest version of K Lite Codec Pack from the official website.

2. Run the Setup

3. After running the setup press Next and choose to Simple Install.

4. It will ask you to enable two decoders or not. I recommend you not to enable both of the decoders.

5. Now it will ask Select the media player in which you want to play all media files. So select Windows Media Player and untick the Media Classic Player.

6. Now it will ask the file extensions you want to play in Windows Media Player. So select all the media and audio files extensions. Be sure all file extensions are select.

7. Now it will ask you to Select the files which you want to be enabled in the Internet Explorer. So select all the files.

8. Now select your speaker Configuration and click Next start the installation.

Note: After K Lite Codec Pack is Installed, you must restart your computer to apply the new changes whether it asks or not.
