Take A Picture / Screenshot In Windows XP

Today i am going to tell you about How To Take A Screenshot In Windows XP. Sometimes you want to take a screen shot of you screen and you don't know how to do this .You don't want to install any software to take a screenshot of your screen, You can take it without any software in windows xp.Screenshots are usefull in many ways example Sometimes you want to take a screenshot of a website e.t.c.


Note: You can't take a screenshot if you are not logged in to your windows or if  you are playing any video on Windows Media Player.

Simply follow the steps below to take a Picture / Screenshot:


  •  Press Print Screen button located somewhere at the top of your keyboard (Depending on your Keyboard) but are mostly at top right corner. Now your screen is captured, you just want to save it.
  • Go to Start and click Programs, now click Accessories and then click Paint.
  • Now click Edit and then click Paste.
  • If you want to edit you can edit there.
  • Save your screenshot anywhere you want.
  • Press Alt + Print Screen button to capture only a window (it will not capture the taskbar down).
