I always found something very interesting being able to control my computer from hand held devices. Some applications for Palms and Pocket PCs to allow this, but the migration to the iPhone made me learn new applications and experience a new concept for me so far: control my computer from anywhere anytime over the Internet via cell phone.
Faced with this new and interesting possibilities, I began to go after the various applications available in Apple Store. After several tests in applications "lites" and shopping in some applications full version, I checked the conclusion that for non-commercial applications, the best option is the TeamViewer . The application is the same for commercial and non-commercial (personal), but the commercial version costs $ 99.99, while the non-commercial version is free (again: SAME APPLICATION !!!).
TeamViewer uses a form of mouse navigation very good. The movement and the mouse buttons can not be controlled by clicking the appropriate form at any point on the screen, regardless of where the mouse pointer is. This allows, for example, it is possible to perform accurate movements and clicks away from seeing the arrow of your finger (your finger without interfering with the vision and operation). In most other apps that might not be solved and precision movements were more difficult.
Another very positive TeamViewer is the possibility of having a list of the main computers accessed, and you can see which of these computers which are online and offline.
To control your computer, and the iPhone app installed, you must also install a server on the computer so that it can establish communication with the iPhone app. This served can be downloaded free from the manufacturer's website:http://www.teamviewer.com/pt/download/index.aspx
For anyone who was interested, it's worth taking a look at the application in operation on YouTube . .
